Students are not to arrive at school before 7:50 am, as morning supervision only begins at 7:50. There is no supervision prior to this time. Daycare service (for a fee) is provided as of 7:00 am.

Dress Code
Westmount Park does not have a uniform or specific color code. We ask for parents' full cooperation in ensuring students adhere to the Westmount Park dress code guidelines.
- Students are allowed to wear clothing of their choice that reflects their personal style and that is comfortable.
- Only wear tops that have appropriate symbols and language. No offensive images should be worn.
- Shorts and skirts should be of appropriate length. All shirts should have sleeves.
- Jewelry is not recommended as the school is not responsible for loss or theft of such items.
- Flip-flop sandals and open toe shoes are not permitted. Shoes and socks should be worn at all times.
- If your child does not know how to tie their shoes, please send them to school with shoes with a hook and loop fastener (example: Velcro)
- Hats should not be worn in class. Hats and hoodies must allow the face to be visible to the staff.
School fees?
As a public school, Westmount Park School does not charge any tuition fees to students and welcomes all children for free. Unfortunately, they are various additional fees for consumables and supervision outside of teaching hours not covered by our budget. These fees allow Westmount Park to broaden its offerings to students, and give additional flexibility to working parents.
Please be advised that additional fees may be charged for field trips and other activities during class time. You will receive notices from the school prior to these activities taking place.
Unpaid or outstanding fees may result in your child being excluded from extra-curricular activities, so we ask that you please pay all fees as quickly as possible. Please send your fee payment with your child by cheque (to the order of Westmount Park School) or in cash by the deadline on your fee notice.
