Dear Westmount Park Families,

Please find below the details for the start of the 2024-2025 school year.

First Day of School

For all students registered in grades 1 - 6, the first day of classes will be on Thursday, August 29th, 2024. This will be a regular day. Drop-off will begin at 7:50 am.

•  Students will be greeted by staff on the park field, on Academy Road. In case of rain, students will be met in the gymnasium.
• All students will gather according to grade level and teachers will escort students to their particular classes.
• All preschool students (K4 and K5) will be welcomed on a progressive entry schedule at the start of the school year. Each child is invited for a shortened school day, accompanied by one parent. Staff members will meet parents and students at the front of the school, on Park Place. Unfortunately, transportation will not be available to preschool students on these days. All K4 and K5 students will begin school full-time on September 5th, 2024.

• Students whose last names begin with A – C will be welcomed on August 29th, from 9:30pm – 11:30pm.
• Students whose last names begin with D – I will be welcomed on August 30th, from 8:30am – 10:30am.
• Students whose last names begin with J – P will be welcomed on September 3rd, from 8:30am–10:30am.
• Students whose last names begin with Q –Z will be welcomed on September 4th, from 8:30am–10:30am.
